Privacy Policy

This policy explains what VidFX AI (operated by Deguang Li) collects and why. We do not sell personal data.

Uploads, prompts and results

Images you upload and prompts you type are sent to our AI infrastructure provider (fal.ai) only to generate your result. Uploads are stored there temporarily so the model can read them; we do not keep them on our servers or use them to train models. Prompts are also checked by an automated moderation service before generation. Results are returned to your browser; queued results (video, longer audio) are kept for up to one day so your browser can fetch them.

Usage limits

To enforce daily free limits we keep a counter keyed by your IP address. It expires automatically after one day.

Email and credits

When you buy credits (or join the list before purchases open), we store your email address, your credit balance and a random device identifier, so the credits you bought can be used from the browser you bought them on. Your browser keeps a signed token for this in local storage. If you ask to use the credits on another device, we email you a one-time link. We use your email only for receipts, your credits, restore links and important notices about VidFX AI. Ask us at any time to delete it.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor, which handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your full card details. Stripe receives your email address to process the charge and send the receipt.

Aggregate statistics

We count anonymous events such as page views, generations and button clicks per page per day to improve the site. These counts contain no identifiers and are not linked to you. We may also use cookieless page analytics from our hosting provider.

Retention

Rate-limit counters: 1 day. Daily statistics: 90 days. Email and credit balance: until you ask us to delete them, or as long as needed for tax and accounting records of a purchase.
